"Alive in Christ: Faith, Academics, Service"

Important Dates

Sunday, May 13:  Happy Mother's Day!  Enjoy the day with your family.  

Wednesday, May 16:   Band performance at 2:00 p.m. in the parish center.

Friday, May 18:  Field Day!  The students have been divided into two homeroom teams:  green or gold (yellow).  Please make sure your child wears their team's color T-shirt for the day with short sleeves. I stressed that the students do not need new T-shirts!! Please have your child wear sunscreen, tennis shoes & socks, with appropriate athletic shorts.   Thank you.

Also, there is an 8:00 a.m. All School Liturgy before Field Day begins.  All are welcome.  Students are asked to bring pancake mix & syrup and/or jelly for the St. Wenceslaus Food Pantry.

Tuesday, May 22:  Uniform Re-sale in the upper cafeteria from 7:30-8:30 a.m.

Friday, May 25:  Closing Mass at 8:00 a.m.   All are welcome!  Awards ceremony for grades 5-6 at 10:45-11:45 a.m. in the parish center.  Summer vacation begins with dismissal at 12:05p.m.  Enjoy!

                                   Subjects

Social Studies:  Chapter 15:  Europe and the Western Hemisphere. Test is Tuesday.The students are taking their own notes. Please make sure your child is reviewing their study guide on a daily basis.

English:  We are beginning our study of adverbs.  Please have them review their class notes in the back of their English notebooks and exercises in the front of their notebooks nightly. 

Religion: We are continuing our Family Life lessons.  Please make sure your child is reviewing their notes nightly.

Additional Information
Please make sure your child is reading toward achieving his or her goal.  This will eliminate unnecessary stress at the end of the quarter.
